Once the outer skins and roots have been cleaned, the product is calibrated at the plant. It is calibrated according to the particular sales format. These formats are designed and used according to the European packing and palletising system: the design and final presentation of the product is done taking into account both consistency and customers. Fuencampo onions are extremely delicate: our priority is to maintain the product’s unique qualities until it is consumed.
Therefore, the packs and format boxes designed by the company, as well as careful packaging and palletisation, prevent the onions from suffering any possible damage during transport and handling processes.
